    Welcome to my rebooted blog. By day (and plenty of nights) I am CTO at FreshNetworks, one of Europe’s leading social media agencies. We do a lot of our work with Drupal, WordPress and Facebook but as “being social” becomes an integral part of more platforms and procesess our tech horizons are cast ever wider.

    Supporting social means having to cope with serious traffic so we’ve also had to put together suitably scalable and resilient Amazon EC2 cloud hosting environment.

    I divide my time between London and Valencia in Spain where the loves of my life live. The 320 sunny days/year has absolutely nothing to do with it. Unfortunately, we don’t yet have a siesta policy…
