I'd just finished drilling a hole in the wall when the whole building started to shake! It took a little while to realise that I wasn't in the midst of a DIY disaster but rather an earthquake...

As an earthquake virgin it was a somewhat scary experience. I've subsequently discovered that the epicentre was rather close and even made the news....

Guess this is something I'm going to have to get used to with living in the mountains!
