Needed some 3D modelling software for a project. From my research so far the rather excellent Wings 3D looks like it will satisfy my requirements for a simple static mesh modelling tool. Good news is that it's open source too.

SimpleComments is great for combining comments and trackbacks into a single listing but it lacks conditional logic on the counter. Kevin Shay's Compare plugin can be used to get round this.

The stockmarket has been cheerier of late. My top tips of the moment are a bunch of high-yielders: UCM Group, Wintrust and, as a riskier punt: Stirling Group. Carphone Warehouse are doing me proud, but I am beginning to wonder how much further they can fly. DYOR and all that.
